Coquitlam.Media exists for one reason: most local businesses have real work worth showing and no time to film it, edit it or write about it. We do that part. We plan the shoot around your schedule, sort out consent, film your crew and premises, edit the footage into clips, films and photos, and write the website pages that go with them.
Nobody at Coquitlam.Media picks up a trade tool on your jobs: no installs, no repairs, no cleaning, no servicing. We also never appear on camera pretending to be your staff. Our job is to show the work your team does, honestly, and help more of the right customers see it.
Part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group
Coquitlam.Media is one of the brands in the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. That group is a Canadian business with its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia, working for clients right across the country.
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company. Among the brands it runs are Trades.Agency, HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Conv.ca and BusinessConsulting.ca.
- SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) stands for Strategy & Acceleration Zone. It is a Canadian firm that consults on strategy, AI and revenue growth, and Ali Sedighi is its Founder & Managing Partner.
Our plans and pricing follow the Trades.Agency family, which is why the pricing page links there for the full details.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi leads Coquitlam.Media. His MBA is in Technology Management. His marketing career began in 2007, the year he started ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency, which gives him more than 17 years in the field. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.
He later founded MyAutomation.ca and Conv.ca, the second being an agency devoted to conversion-rate optimisation. He has worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai, and he has built 150+ live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, HeatLand and BoilerPart.ca.
That background matters for content work in a specific way. Conversion work teaches you to judge every photo, clip and paragraph by whether it helps a customer decide, not by whether it looks impressive. It is the standard we apply to every shoot.
How we work
Our process is deliberately plain.
- Listen first. On the first call we ask what customers ask you before they hire you, which jobs make you proud, and what you would rather never film.
- Plan the day. We write a shot list around one real job or your premises, so the crew is not kept waiting and nothing is filmed twice.
- Consent before cameras. Anyone recognisable signs a release first, and customers decide what of their property can be shown. Our consent guide explains the basics.
- Edit for decisions. Each clip, film and photo has a job: answer a question, show a standard, or make it easy to call.
- Report honestly. We track which pieces lead to calls, texts and emails, and we drop formats that do not, however good the view counts look.
What we will not do
- Use stock footage or stock photos and present them as your team or your work.
- Write made-up customer quotes, invent reviews or fake star ratings.
- Promise rankings, views or leads. Nobody can honestly promise them.
- Post a customer, employee or home without permission.
- Lock you in. You can leave any month by giving 30 days' notice, and your files go with you.
Who we tend to work with
The businesses we suit most are owner-run businesses with real work to show and a little patience. That includes renovators, painters, landscapers, roofers, cleaners and other home-service trades, along with clinics, studios, salons, cafés and independent shops. Most have between one and a few dozen staff, an owner who still answers questions on site, and a website that undersells them.
We are a weaker fit if you want viral entertainment, celebrity-style ads or content that hides who you are. Our footage is meant to look like your business on a good day, not like a television commercial.
Why a Coquitlam focus
Content works best when it looks like the place your customers live. The city ranges from towers around Lafarge Lake to hillside homes on Westwood Plateau and new streets on Burke Mountain, and each needs different shots and different stories. Our areas page explains how we adjust. For examples of the method in action, see results from our HVAC work, or contact us to talk it through.
Frequently asked questions
Is Coquitlam.Media a separate company?
It is a brand within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group. Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company, and Trades.Agency, one of its brands, sets the plans and pricing used here.
Are you a contractor?
No. We do not install, repair, clean or service anything. We plan, film, edit and write marketing content for the businesses that do that work.
Why are your case studies about heating companies?
Because that is where the group's published portfolio is: 150+ live HVAC websites built. We present those as results from our HVAC work and never claim them for other trades. The method, consistent and specific content about real work, is what transfers.
Who will I actually deal with?
A senior strategist from the first call. You will not be passed to a junior coordinator who has never seen your business.
