These are the questions Coquitlam owners ask us most often, answered as plainly as we can. If yours is not here, call, text or email and ask it directly.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
Growth costs $1,999 a month, Elite $3,999 and Enterprise $7,999 when paid monthly; paying annually drops them to $1,499, $2,999 and $5,999. BC clients add 5% GST on top. Ad spend, if any, is separate.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. You pay month by month, and stopping takes 30 days' written notice. Choosing annual billing is optional and just buys a lower monthly rate.
Who owns the photos, videos and pages?
You do. Everything we produce for you is delivered to accounts and folders you control, so it stays with your business whether or not you keep working with us.
Are you a video crew, a marketing agency or a contractor?
We are a content and marketing service. We plan, film, edit and write. None of our work is trade work; we are not a contractor in any sense.
We tried an agency before and got nothing. Why would this be different?
Ask what you actually received last time: real footage of your work, or generic posts and stock images? We build everything from your own jobs, report on calls and texts rather than likes, and you can leave with 30 days' notice if it is not working.
How long until we see results?
You will have finished content within a few weeks of the first shoot. Enquiries from that content usually build over several months, and search-driven results take longer. Our published HVAC examples played out over six to twelve months.
Will you promise a number of views, rankings or leads?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We promise honest work, clear reporting and quick changes when something is not performing.
What do you need from me on a shoot day?
Access to a job or your premises, a few minutes with you or a lead hand on camera, and a heads-up to the customer that we are coming. We work around the crew rather than stopping them.
How do you handle customer privacy?
We ask before filming anyone or anything identifiable, get written releases, and frame out house numbers, licence plates and family members unless they agree. BC's private-sector privacy law expects consent and a clear purpose, and our guide explains the basics.
Can you film in condo and strata buildings?
Yes, with permission. Common areas usually need the strata or property manager's approval as well as the owner's, so we plan suite-only shots where possible and check building rules first.
How will I know if it is working?
We report monthly on calls, texts and emails from your website, Google Business Profile and social accounts, and on which clips and pages contributed. We also suggest asking callers how they found you.
Do you post on my accounts?
We can schedule posts on accounts you own, or hand you finished files and a calendar. You approve every piece before it is published either way.
Money and commitment
Most owners want to know two things first: what it costs, and how easily they can stop. Plans run from $1,999 to $7,999 a month on month-to-month terms, with lower rates if you choose annual billing, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Full details and a worked way to decide what to spend are on the pricing page.
A practical tip: before talking to any content provider, write down your average job value and roughly how many extra jobs a month would make the spend worthwhile. It turns a vague conversation into a simple test.
Footage, files and ownership
Your content should outlive any working relationship. We deliver finished photos, videos and written pages to folders and accounts you control. If you already have a website, a Google Business Profile and social accounts, they stay in your name and we work inside them with the access you give us.
If a previous agency set up accounts in its own name, we can help you list what to ask for back. It is one of the most common problems we see.
Consent and privacy
Filming people and homes carries real responsibility. In BC, private organizations handle personal information under provincial privacy law, which generally means telling people why you are collecting it and getting their consent. We plan shots around that from the start. Our consent guide covers the basics, including staff, customers, children and public places. It is practical guidance, not legal advice.
When content is the wrong answer
Sometimes we tell owners not to spend money on video yet. If your phone goes unanswered half the day, if quotes take a week to go out, or if your Google Business Profile has the wrong hours, fix those first. Good content sends more people to whatever happens next, and if what happens next is a voicemail box that is full, the footage is wasted.
The same goes for businesses that are already booked solid. If you have a three-month waiting list, content may still help you raise prices or choose better jobs, but it will not add work you can deliver. We would rather say so on the first call than sell you a plan you do not need.
Results and reporting
Every month you get a short, plain report: what was published, where it went, and what happened next. We focus on calls, texts and emails that start from your website, Google Business Profile and social accounts, and on which clips, photos and pages contributed. Views and likes are in there too, but they are context, not the goal.
One habit makes reporting far more accurate: ask every new caller how they found you, and write the answer down. It takes ten seconds and fills gaps no analytics tool can.
Footage you already have
Many owners have years of phone photos and clips sitting on a phone or in a shared drive. Some of it is useful, especially "before" shots of jobs that are now finished. On a first call we can look through it with you, flag what is usable, and note anything that needs consent before it is posted.
Working with us
We start with a conversation about your business, plan one shoot around a real job, and deliver edits for your approval. The day-to-day shape of a shoot is in our one-day shoot guide, and the way one shoot becomes months of posts is in the repurposing guide. To ask anything not covered here, go to the contact page.
